this is my research on Ancient egypt

1. Describe the features of your chosen system of government (how it works).

The government of ancient Egypt was a theocratic monarchy as the king ruled by a mandate from the gods, initially was seen as an intermediary between human beings and the divine, and was supposed to represent the gods' will through the laws passed and policies approved.

2. Describe how leadership/power was gained in your system of government.

you became pharaoh by being the oldest son of the pharaohs most important wife.

By being the first born son of the previous Pharaoh from his main Queen or at least by being the favourite son of the previous Pharaoh/Queen. You can also achieve that by using militical, political or religious authority to overthrow/sideline your competitors to become the Pharaoh.

3. Explain how your system of government controlled people

the people thought the pharaohs were a Mediator between mankind and the gods. so the people are to scared to disobey him

4. Explain the effects – both positive and negative - on people living under this system of government.

a bureaucratic and administrative state was built around the sovereign that would gradually increase in complexity.

the vizier was similar in stature to a modern day prime minister. he was the chief official of the state and, as such, responsible for coordinating and controlling the entire Egyptian administration. Regional officials worked under his instruction

IN this Project I did Ancient Egypt to study. The Ancient Egyptians were in a complete Monarchy. you would become Pharaoh if you were the oldest son of the pharaoh’ most important wife. the people listened to the pharaoh Because the thought that he was a Mediator between mankind and the gods.

how does the music enhance the film?
the music enhances the film because if was silent it would not be as creepy or have the same feel to it. it would be weird and not feel right.

DTE- tiny robots

In DTE we are making a game/program for sphero. Mine will be a hot potato game. The sphero will make a blaster sound. If this happens to you you are out. Simple. But it will also ether say in at random as well. If it says in then you are in, if not then you are out.

Coraline

In the past 2 lessons we have been watching the movie Coraline. here is what I remember

She has moved to a new apartment block call 'The pink place.' Her parents are busy working on a garden catalog, and have no time of Coraline. She gets upsets about this. YB gives her a doll that looks like her, she then finds the door in the wall. she goes through the door and finds the other world. She is apprehensive at first but she soon warms up to the idea. She soon looks forward to going there and ends up hating the real world. The other Mother asks her if she wants to stay forever and coraline says yes, but when she finds out that that means have buttons sewn to her eyes. she then sees what this place really is. She tries to leave the way she always have, by going to sleep, but that does not work. she then gets trapped into a mirror and talks to the gost kids,the other mothers other prey. she find out that the other 

Metal work ID tags

In metal we are making keychains / ID tags. we have been following the design process for the past... long time. mine is for my Mum for a present. It is hopefully going to be a gitter resin teardrop, but I dont think thats going to happen. It may have to be 3D printed. ='( this is the plan

the white bits are supposed to be beads.

So far this has taken longer to get going than the first one but I guess we had to make it ourself from scratch. I'm not sure if I can get in in gitter resin.

ok this is what happened
first time I tried it..... it disappeared or did not print I don't know. Then the second time it work! sorta

the blue firmament is like glue! I could not get the backing off! >=(
so I had to do it, YET again (*Angry noises*)
Fourth time the charm ha?

HA IT WORKED!!!! Now... I have to add the glitter reason. I just thought, what if muck this up... and where am I getting the glitter? Or beads? Poo! ugg it might just be a hollow key ring. Oh well

Math

In math we have been looking at a lot of different stuff. Like Facts with big numbers, large numbers, rule of indices,  and traveling around the universe in a A380 plane.

the Imploding Can

This is the Scientific method for a experiment we did yesterday

Aim
to Observe Contraction in Gases
Equipment
Can, Scissor tong, Bunsen burner, Heat Proof mat, tripod gauze mat, open container of cold water,
Method 

1. Set up your bunsen burner under the tripod and gauze mat. 
2. pour apox 50-60 ml of water into the can. it should be no more than 1/4 full.
3. heat the can of water until steam is escaping from the top.
4. carefully grip the can with the tongs. be sure to have a strong grip on it before lifting it off.
5. Quickly but very carefully invert the can as you plunge it into the container of cold water.

Hypothesis 

I think the can will implode. it will crumple upon itself,

Observations

the  water in the can boiled and when we tipped it into the water it imploded on itself like I thought 

Explanation 

this happened because the air pressure inside the can becomes less than that outside so it crumples in on itself when it got cooled quickly
