S.E.X.X.Y Paragraphs

In english we are looking at S.E.X.X.Y Paragraghs. We were put in groups and had to write a Paragraph on this picture:



Each group had an aspect of this to look at. My group had the film technique of 'Two shot.' In other words, and shot in a film that has two people in it. This is the paragraph we ended up writing

The two shot was used in this scene. This helps to see the two sides of the spectrum in the fight. You can also see the proximity of the guard and G.P. The director used this because it increases the intensity of the shot. This makes us feel pity and scared for G.P.This can be linked to when the guard made G.P eat the mauna off his shoe.

Coraline

S.E.X.X.X.Y ------> The lawyer
In the film Coraline, high angle shots are used effectively to establish a characters position of power. This is demonstrated in the scene where Coraline and Wybie return from visiting their neighbours. A high angle shot from the POV of the other mother looking down the stairs towards wybie makes him look vulnerable this makes us understand that the other mother has all the power and might not be as kind as coraline thinks at this point. The purpose of this is to show a character that is unhappy in the 'other' world and foreshadow the horrific turn of events later in the story. Combined with the use of facial expression,Wybie's mouth is frowning and his eyebrows are arched in fear, the idea of being vulnerable is enhanced. this aspect asn be compared to coralines battle with the other mother at the end of the film, where we get to see the true evtl nature of the beldam

Remarkably, Roman could see the logic in logan's decision, so he did not question it.
Confusingly, Decit told the truth.

throughout the mindscape, you could hear the yelp coming from the kitchen.
between the arguments, Logan stayed in his room while Roman watched disney.

eg; an example of this is the incident with the girls throwing water into the stall soaking martha. when she came out of the stall they punched her in the stomach and called her a slut. this made martha feel angry and upset.

eg: unsurprisingly this is a exaple of phyical bulling by students toward martha. there was a impalince of power between martha and her bullies because there was one of her and three of them.

While Patton waited for others to wake up, he made breakfast. Determined to be in a good mood, he sang to drown out the voices in his head. eveneraly Roman woke up to the sound of disney drifting down the hall. After sitting there for a while, he got up after hearing a crash.

Using your imagination is a great idea. While using your imagination, you are exercising your mind. After awhile, you will be able to come up with ideas quickly and efficiently.
