Jam drops
In Home Ec, we made Jam drops. We made these because we are looking at culture and how it shaped our food we eat today. The Jam Drops are from England brought over by the british settlers. We used self raising flour, which the settlers wouldn't have because they wouldn't have baking powder, they would of had to use something else.

Carrot Cake Cupcakes
In Home Economics last week we made carrot cake cupcakes. We worked well as a team. We made these because they had a secret veggie hidden in them *carrot* so it was kinda healthy. There still was a lot of sugar.😉.Due to Budget and timing we could not put Cream cheese Icing on them, so instead we simply added icing sugar. We used a simple recipe of:
Cakes
- Flour
- White sugar
- Salt
- Carrots
- Cinnamon
- B.soda
- B. powder
- Oil
- Egg
Icing
- Cream Cheese (Softened)
- Icing sugar
- Lemon juice

spaghetti and meatballs
in cooking last week we made spaghetti and meatballs. We had a pre-made sauce, that saved a lot of time. We made the meatball by mixing together
- meat
- garlic
- onion
- herbs and spice
- bread
- egg
We cooked the meatballs in the oven to make it easier, and after heating up the sauce we added the meatballs and let it simmer. after the pasta was cooked we dished it into our bowls and added cheese. It was very yummy, and fulling. I think my team work well and we were finished on time. At leased the cooking part, the dishes were not done on time.
