Hey, it's Friday again! Whoo. Right don't want to faff around, lets get into it.
Text name: Harry Potter and the future's past.
Text creator: DriftWood1965
Text type: Fanfiction
Text purpose: To entertain
Date 2/7/21
Question for today: who benefits from this text?
Answer: Harry Potter fans
Evidence: it is a Harry Potter fanfiction, so the fans will like it
There we go. easy peasy. Read the book, I think you will like it if you like Harry Potter and the ship HarryxHermione
In art, I have to make another blog post on Tracey Tawhiao. This one is about how she uses space, color, and objects in her work.
The first thing I had to do was a thumbnail sketch.
The objects she uses to make the artwork are pieces of newspaper, acrylic paints, and a canvas. the objects she uses in the artwork are fish. she has also kept a picture of a kiwi, and the word 'Inside' from the newspapers underneath the paint.
There is also not a lot of free space in the painting. It is mostly taken up by fish though the fish are only line art, so you could say the space in the fish counts. She has also filled each fish with triangle designs and one with Maori designs.
She also uses only a handful of colors. This helps to not keep the painting too busy, and keep it easy on the eyes. The red color is bright and helps to grab the eye.
I think that is all I need to do here. =)
It's Friday! You know what that means (maybe) another reflection section! Yay!
Today's book is called Battle Scars, Written by Invisame on Wattpad. My question for today is... Who is real in this text. and the answer to that question is.... Nobody, it's a fanfiction. the only semi-real person in the book is us (It's an x-reader book.)
So there is the reflection. I would recommend reading the book if you like avengers, and if Tony Stark is your favorite character. So yeah. That's the book. Read it if you want. 👍
In art, we are doing a drawing project in which we have to do two or three drawings relating to our Kopapa or theme. My theme is environment or more specifically looking after trees. Here is my first drawing for this project.
This was based on a photograph I took. this one
For this artistic blog post, we are going to be looking at Sofia Minson, another Maori Artist.
We had to watch this video and take notes.
Again I will summerise. She is a Maori who takes inspiration from other religions deities (Egyptian, Hindu, Maori, and Christain)
The image is of a Maori woman wearing a Religious crown/headpiece, however, it is not a Maori religious crown/headpiece. I think it may be a Hindu headpiece or an Egyptian one, I'm not sure.
A difference between Sofia and Tracey is that Sofia uses a canvas while Tracey uses newspapers as her canvas. Sofia also takes ideas from different mythologies and Tracey uses themes from the newspaper. Tracey also normally works in grids and Sofia works in full-page artworks.
Again I think this is all I need to do. If not... whoops.
(Edit 13/8/21)
Sofia Minson uses subversion in her work by combining different religions and deities together in her artworks.
It's Friday again which means another book reflection. Let's get into it.
Title: The Cult of Dionysus (Book)
Author: Ynyr on Fanfiction.net
Type: Fanfiction
Purpose: To entertain.
Who would read this book and why? Harry Potter fans who like different Au's and people who don't mind Harry being a bit OOC (Out of character). Possibly some Percy Jackson fans/Graak Mytholagie fans as well, but not many.
It's Friday again and so another reflection section! Yay! anyway, let's get onto it
Title: Dimension Soulmates Story
Author: Michcamnz
Purpose: To entertain
Blurb: Katherin Drawn is a normal girl. Well, that is if you count mysterious writing appearing on your skin at random times, and saying random things. When Katherin finally writes back, her whole life gets flipped upside down, as cliche as that sounds.
Who would read this and why?
Harry Potter fans who like the ink on skin soulmate trope, because that is what it is about. And also it's interesting.
