Many years ago, when I was just a small boy, we found a mysterious object washed up on the beach. It was a sort of silver-grey colour, and looked like a finger, only much, much larger.
My friends and I had huddled together on the beach around the thing, holding our hands up to our faces to shield our eyes from the dazzling sun, talking excitedly about what it could be. Some hours later, after we had all made up wild stories about the origin of our new toy, we dragged the colossal item that was the size of our dining table up to the village.
As we made our way slowly over the sand dunes, and the long, wispy grass that marked the end of the beach and the start of the fields, a crowd seemed to be gathering. Women and young children were leaving their houses, young lads were leaving tools and ploughs unattended in the fields, and rosy-cheeked men were stumbling out of the smoke-filled tavern, all hurrying with increasing urgency towards us.
“Stop stop do not bump it drop it or most importantly open it” someone yelled. That's when I saw a hatch in the side “why not?” Harry my best friend said back “what's inside?” “nothing little boys should have to deal with” Ivan looked at me. “Dude you know how I left paris. Well there were too many akuma attacks. All by the same guy and then Kim said he had disappeared in a finger like thing and then chat noir though him in the sea but maranet fell in, then chat jump in to save her and they got sucked in i think this may be it” “but” harry urged “you know people chuck dead people in the sea maybe it one of thoses” so we left it with a promise to come back at midnight.
“Well now that sleepyhead ivan is here we can open it” Ivan frowond “but you said we will not open it” “at the time yes but now…” I sigh “Ivan if you don't want to see wants in it that's fine but i do.” “ya you scaredy cat” harry taunted. Ivan turned away “whatever happens i'm not a part of it” he walked off. I looked after him “ you know he has a reason to worry. He's had this first hand and I not sure i want to do this now maybe we should…” “NO!!!” harry yelled “IVAN IS LYING HE WAS NOT AKUMATIZED THERE IS NO HAWK MOTH CHAT NOIR OR LADYBUG. LIKE I SAID HE IS A SCAREDY CAT AND WOULD NOT OPEN IT EVEN IF THERE WAS GOLD IN IT!!!!” what he did not know was that ivan heard that. ‘The little brat” he thought but he pushed it out of his head and kept walking.
Meanwhile back at the capcle I was ready to leave “harry” I tried again “look we don’t know what's in it so” I said quickly “if it is bad we are to blame so i think we should not open it because if ivan is right IF he is we have a villain in here” harry was still not convinced “ like you said to ivan you don't need to be here but don't think you are out of the woods yet.” He glared I turned and ran to catch up with ivan. He was sitting on a beach. “Hi bro” I said quietly “ sorry about back there” he sighed but did say anything so we just sat waiting, for what we did not know at that moment. Then we heard footsteps and looked up, it was harry I stood up “what happened” we asked he smiled “nothi…” just then a light shines upon us “there you are boy what are you doing.” it was my mum. “ just getting fresh air Ms Thom.” “ hmm very well but come back in side you are not meant to be out here at this hour.
At the capsule two teens popped out on top of each other one boy and one girl. “Adrien! I'm so sorry didn't mean to fall for you I MEAN FALL ON YOU akkk.” the girl screamed. the boy who was called Adrien laghed. “It's all right marrient. I wonder where we are? They looked around. “Last thing I remember was falling in the water cos someone pushed me then I heard a splash then I was here” Marinette said. “Hmmm we should see where we are before people see us. Come on.” they left but as they were walking marinette found a broch. “Wait isn’t this Ivans? The one Mylene gave him?” Adrien turned around “how did it get here?” they walked as they thought about it. Up ahead they heard voices saying “ Harry why did you open it after what everyone said” “ because I wanted to that's why” Adrien stopped so suddenly that marirent bumped in to him. “Did you hear that? Someone is out “ he whispered. DONG DONG DONG DONG. the town clock said it was 4:00 in the morning “come I have a idea if we sing in to a hotel we will have a room to be in until we figure this out” “K” marinette said as looking at the broch “he pinned it” she said “he’s here” “who is?” Adrien asked and she looked up “Ivan” Adrien looked shocked “of course he is remember last year he said he was leaving to Balue. Maybe that's where we are? Adrien looks around. Then they continued on their way.
30 minutes after the two teens came out a man came out “nooroo what happened? Where are we?” he said. A little purple bug flew out from somewhere. “ I do not know master. Maybe someone could help us…” the man laughed “ you know it's the middle of the night who would be up at this time. Though we need a new base. Lets go.” and they walked off in the opposite way then the teens.
As we walk off Harry giggled at something “what is it” I wisberd “your mum looks a lot bigger in this light” he snickered “oh shut up you said that you… what’s that” i spun round and saw two teen walking in the other direction “ hey mum these some kids out” I yelled. Mum spun around and looked in the direction I pointed “Ivan” she said slowly “can you go and see who it is and were there headed “oh ok” he look unsure “wait here” he ran to catch up to them . “wait” he yelled after them they turned around at the voice. Ivan stopped “Adrien? Marinette? how did you get here? Ohhh harry he did it. that means… nevermind” “ivan! I don't know we just where in paris and now we are here” adrien explained “oh well Phil’s mum wants to know what you are doing in the middle of the night.” ivan pointed to where we stood waiting. “Well then we will come and say we are lost.” marinette said ‘calmly’ so they walked over and mum look them up and down “what are you kids doing out here at…’ she looked at her watch “4:05 in the morning” Ivan looked at them “they're lost and ah can’t-don't know where they are or where their home is.” “OH NO you poor babies well come with us and you can stay with me.” thank you miss.” marinette yawned ‘beep beep.’ marinette reached in her pocket and pulled out her phone “alya” she said shortly she looked at the text
‘Day 32 mari are you out yet? Girl I miss you so much let me know you are ok. LADYBUG IS GOOOOOOONE, and … adrien is to. Chloe is still upset about that. She was the one who pushed u in. she claims it was an accident and she did not mean for you to fall in. or for chat to jump in after you. Text you tomorrow though you can’t see it

‘hi alya it's around 4:30 am here and i am out. Adrien is here and i am ok’ she hit send and not 12 seconds later ‘bring-bring bring-bring’ marinette looked at it “alya.’ Hi alya.” “MAIR!!!! I’VE MISSED YOU WHERE ARE YOU? LADYBUG IS GOOOOOOOOOONE AND CHAT NOIR well he did jump in after you BUT WHY WHERE YOU AT THE FLIPPEN EDGE! Everyone has been so worry about you. So Adrien is with you ha. How's that going for you.” “good but i'm tied ivans here and ya um bye i'm at a phil's house cos his mum was nice. Night.” she put the phone away and followed Mum. “sorry we only have one more room i hope you don't mind sharing a room.” Mum explained “it's ok. Thank you again.” Adrien replied. Marinette walked in and sat down on a bed. Adrien went into the bathroom. “Plag! Plag!” he cried. A tiny floating black cat flew out from his pocket “what?” it asked “Plag how am i going to explain this to marinette? Because she now knows that Chat Noir jumped in after her and not me but, i'm here and not him.” Adrien said half freaking out. “Ugg just don't meachen it. And where's my cheese?” Plag asked. Back in the bedroom marinette was talking to a giant ladybug thing named tikki “so if chat jumped in after me where is he? And how did adrian get here?” marinette asked “umm… i… don't … know… sorry… he could have already been in there?” tikki stammered “but i did not put him in there only hawk moth!” marinette said flustered. The bathroom door opened and tikki hid in marinette’s bag that was over her shoulder. The silence was awkward as adrien sat down. Without a word marinette went into one of the beds and adrien followed suit. The next morning at 10:00am marinette awoke to a yell in the hallway “STAY OUT OF MY ROOM KATIE. I’VE TOLD YOU ONE TO MANY TIMES!” I screamed. Katie my little sister ran to the lounge. “MUMMYYYYYY!” I heard her cry next thing I know Mum comes stomping down the hall with Katie clinging to her pants. She uches me into my room and asked what's the meaning of this. While this is happening marinette goes to the window. as she pass adrien’s bed she saw he was not in it. ‘Oh well’ she thought ‘he must of got up earlier than me’ she then making sure the door was closed she said “tikki spots on” as a glow forms around her, her clothes change to a ladybug jumpsuit.
she then jumped out the window, swang from a yoyo onto the the roof and jumping from rooftop to rooftop. As she reached the church spier a shadow passed on the other side. A head appeared. “Bugaboo?” It said “Chat Noir is that you?” marinette asked the figer. It came around the spier and it turns out to be a blond boy in a catsuit complete with ears, tale and a bell. “L-l-ladybug” he stammered “how did you get here?” Marinette or Ladybug as we should now call her looked at him “I-I just did i guess. I don't remember coming.” Chat looked thoughtful “if you are here if I am here then does that mean he is here” ladybug looked unsure of what he said “well if you fell in with Marinette then it was opened to let you out so he could be out and is looking for a base…. What's the matter Chat?” as she was speaking his face was falling till he looked like a wet puss. “Um-well I need to tell Marinette something but I-I-I don't know how. Or how she will react.” she looked down “oh um, just ah tell her and i'm sure that she will not overly react um so ya just tell her i guess that's what i'm trying to say.” Chat Noir looked much brighter. “Really? You think it would be that easy! Well i’ll go right now. Thanks bugaboo!” he ran of to the house ‘well’ ladybug thought ‘let’s hope it's nothing to bad.’she jumps down in a alleyway and detransformed she then, as marinette, walked off to the our house. As she walked through the door Mum looked into the hallway katie still clinging to her leg “morning walker are you? Well breakfast is on the table and today we can go get you some more clothes and then we can have the afternoon to do what you want.” she said “oh and can you find adrian for me he's not in the room”
Marinette nodded and walked up the stairs to their room she knocked on the door. “Ya?” adrien asked “um-ah can i come in um-ummm.” marinette replied half freaking out “oh ya sorry, come in.” marinette slowly opened the door and Chat Noir stood there. “Oh Chat um sorry you sounded like adrian.” Marinette apologised “oh um well i want to talk… to… you.” Chat said nervously “oh ya i know… I MEAN UMM-OK!” marinette stammered “ok…?” chat said bracing himself “you may want to sit down… and… close your eyes.” “Ok? I won't’ ask why but I’m curious.” she sat down on her bed and shut her eyes “Claws off” “Chat don’t you dare…” she felt a hand on hers “Mari I want to it will all make sense if I do. So please open your eyes.” Mari slowly opened them and right beside her was… “ADRIEN YOU ARE CHAT YOU HAVE BEEN BESIDE ME THIS WHOLE TIME… I rejected you… wait… I KISSED YOU!!! ALYA!!!!! WHY HERE WHEN ALYA IS SO FAR AWAY NOOOOOOOO! I’m over reacting. Marinette calm down. I KISSED ADRIENN!!!!!!!” Marinette yelled “Mari calm down don't shout the house down” Adrien laughed and Marinette look angerly at him “I said you had to keep it a secret and now you try to not let me know that you are breaking the promise you made to me. You're a bad bad kitty cat.” Adrien looked at her “what do you mean I promise to you. I only prom… wait a sec… BUGABOO! Y-YOUR LADYBUG! YAY!!!!!” Marinette laughed “shhhh! Don't shout in the house.” Adrian sat down on the bed “wait if I have a crush on ladybugg…” he started “and i have a crush on you…” marinette continued “then we have a crush on each other!” they said together. Adrian looked at her. “Oh no no no no no!” marinette laughed backing away. They both laughed “well breakfast was ready 2 minutes ago so…” they walked out as they passed my room I leaned out “just letting you know the rooms are soundproof to some disents like when you are right outside the door you can hear them but not any further down.” i said “ok thanks” they said looking at each other as they went down the stairs i heard marinette say “that's good.”
that day mum took us all to the mall. Here she sent adrian off with me to the mens section and took marinette with her and katie to the woman’s section we had agreed to meet back at the pizza place for lunch at 1:00pm. When we got the men’s section I when to look at pants and adrian went to the tops. He pulled is over top out “plagg” he whispered “mari is ladybug!” “ya even I could told you that” plagg replied “and you still have not given me my cheese!” “ugg fine i’ll buy you some soon” he looked at the clothes. As he flicked though he saw a lot of his father's designer work and some chat noir tops. He looked at one. It was a picture of him as chat noir on a black background there's another one beside it were it was a black tee with green eyes and a green paw print. He picked it up and added to his pile to try on as he headed to the changing rooms he passed me. I showed him what i had found and where to find it. over with mum marinette had found a ladybug top she laughed and added it to her pile and looked at the other tops she had found and looked back at katie who was trying to show mum a top with a “buggy with polka dots” as she turned back her mind was somewhere else ‘he was chat this whole time. He was beside me the whole time and, and i rejected him so many times and I…I…I he must be so disappointed that it's me. Oh gosh what should I do?’ she thought as she looked up she saw mum coming up “so marinette what have you come up with” she asked marinette looked at her pile “a lot” she laughed “but i don't think i need this much…” her eyes moved to kaite who was eyeing a top Marinette had in her pile, she laughed “what do you think katie?” she asked Katie looked at her “pretty blue top and red spotty top and … ellow top … ohhhh sparkwy green top” she said without hesitation. “But it's up to ou!” “ya but top do you think I should have?” Marinette asked “uhh umm red spotty top!” katie explained
